Glittering Prizes
Chandleliers are the must-have for the home this autumn. Have fun finding them in shops or at auction. Katrina Burroughs shows you the way...
...Some of the most romantic lighting comes from Rainbow; owner Fabio Bergomi buys "exuberant Italian chandeliers" from around the Italian Lakes.
Stock includes gems from the 19th century to the 1930's and Bergomi's own crystal and wrought-iron range, made in Italy. Each piece is custom-finished, so you can choose frame colour and style of droplets. Buy a plain crystal piece and dress it up with teardrops and "lollipops" in different colours.
You can pay from £150 for a three-light sconce, hung about with crystal ropes and drops with elaborately bevelled edges, to £2,500 for a ful on 18-light "Regina".
